SUMMARY: Reporting to the Director of Product Licensing, the Project Manager/ Planner will be responsible for being the timeline owner, creator and “Control Tower” related to the Product Licensing (PL) partnering, technology transfer and launch process of designated Curio Wellness products in partner states and countries. The Project Manager will coordinate, facilitate and plan all activities required to deliver a smooth, on-time launch. This person will collaborate with the cross-functional team members such as R&D, Product Innovation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Packaging Development, Brand/Marketing and Finance Departments of both Curio Wellness and the Partner company to ensure that all necessary execution activities/tasks for Curio products are completed in support of a successful launch – on time and within the cost parameters agreed in the partner agreement. The Project Manager is expected to manage a portfolio of different projects varying in complexity with more than one partner or for more than one state with a partner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead all project meetings to ensure timeline is adhered to.
- Utilize Project Management Software such as Monday.com to build project plans and be in-charge of updating Curio and Partners activities and ensure all activities targets are met.
- Utilize secure document portals, such as Datasite, for document sharing with partner and ensure confidentiality of Curio Property (including Intellectual Property).
- Consistently challenge and reduce the development lead-times by ensuring appropriately balanced risks are built into the original timelines, while ensuring all COGs, quality and service requirements are achieved/exceeded
- Be an independent contributor to the launch process and the liaison between Curio and its Partners, e.g., Product Development, Operations teams and Brand Marketing, Sales, etc. inclusive of timely escalation of launch challenges on either side to the correct parties to mitigate risks to the business
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by management

- Effective interpersonal skills are necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Project or other project management-related software, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Understanding new product development processes, technology transfer & stage gate approach is desirable.
- Exposure/experience to supply chain, business development, sales, marketing, production, quality, and compliance, as well as the understanding of the interaction of packaging, process, and manufacturing, is highly desirable.
- PMI Certification is also desirable.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) in business development, science, or technology discipline and two (2) years Project Management experience or five (5) years of equivalent job-related experience.
