SUMMARY:
Production Team Leads are responsible for performing all duties associated with packaging edible and inedible products manufactured in the plant. The person in this role leads a team to safely produce the highest quality product with optimal efficiency.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Set up packaging work cells according to standard work layout.
- Review processing work cell setup according to standard work layout
- Execute work with adherence to daily/weekly production schedules.
- Accurately complete & review production-related documents (batch records, label reconciliations, 5S sheets, hour-by-hour boards, inventory counting sheets, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Generate and print labels for production orders.
- Conduct ERP system transactions accurately, as required.
- Document and monitor productivity metrics and encourage the team to meet the goals.
- Provide coverage for operators during scheduled breaks as necessary.
- Report out during the daily gemba walk on the previous day’s attainment.
- Train new associates on packaging standard work and pertinent SOPs.
- Assist in training new operator associates on pertinent processing SOPs
- Restock inventory of production materials necessary to achieve daily production goals.
- Conduct inventory counts of Raw Materials, Work-In-Process, and Finished goods as needed.
- Perform quality control checks at specified intervals.
- Personally adhere to & monitor, and report on the team’s adherence to EHS rules and regulations.
- Comply with all equipment operating procedures and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Perform 5S assignments to maintain a safe and clean workplace.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and work on special projects as assigned.
- Adequately communicate with the Production Manager and other levels of the organization.
- Follow and promote adherence to cGMP & personal hygiene standards.
- Promote a positive work culture, with a focus on Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
- Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Maintains a culture of professionalism and service.

- The ideal candidate will embrace a mindset of Extreme Ownership, taking full responsibility for their contributions and driving positive outcomes.
- 6-12 months of experience at Curio as a Packaging Associate II or equivalent external manufacturing experience.
- No active Corrective Actions meeting or exceeding a Written Warning.
- Perform all Packaging tasks with high quality and at the rate per SOPs and productivity targets.
- Contributes to root cause analyses and can solve problems accordingly.
- Role model for Safety, Quality, and Productivity for other Packaging Associates.
- Able to collaborate and promote a team environment.
- Ability to work overtime to meet production goals, if necessary.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Math skills include basic arithmetic, algebra, fractions, and decimals.
- Deals with issues using discretion and sound judgment.
- Maintains confidentiality of intellectual property.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
