The Inventory Lead is responsible for contributing to a premium retail experience at the Far & Dotter Wellness Center & Spa. This role focuses on ensuring the execution of all inventory processes to maintain compliance with the Wellness Center. The Inventory Lead will help with day-to­ day tasks to aid compliance, sales, and training for the team at the Wellness Center.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Leading and Inspiring to Succeed

  • Assist with training the Patient Care Adviser (PCA) team.
  • Lead the PCA’s through influence by following the policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
  • Assist with promoting a culture consistent with overall corporate parameters, including medicinal and clinical focus.

 

Passion for Outstanding Guest & Patient Service

  • Greet all guests, patients, peers, and vendors at Far & Dotter with warmth and a smile.
  • Always go above and beyond to provide patients and guests with an elevated experience to ensure they leave "delighted."

 

Contributing to a Culture of Retail Sales Excellence

  • Learn the point-of-sale (POS) system and SOPs and execute processes accurately to ensure all transactions are correct and compliant.
  • Learn product assortment and products' associated health benefits.
  • Constantly seek out ways to educate guests about add-on products to drive additional sales.
  • Understand daily, weekly, and seasonal promotions and sell product against these initiatives.
  • Fully participate in staff sales initiatives

 

Secondary Responsibilities: Patient Care Advisor Understanding

  • Demonstrate a willingness and ability to comprehend the PCA role within the organization.
  • Stay informed about PCA duties and responsibilities to be able to step into that capacity if required.
  • Collaborate with the PCA team to gain insights and maintain a working knowledge of their roles and functions.

 

Adaptability and Cross-Functional Support

  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to support other roles within the organization, including the PCA role, as needed.
  • Participate in training sessions or workshops related to the PCA responsibilities to enhance understanding and readiness.

 

Delivering Operations Excellence

  • Performing daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Communicating with the Patient Care Advisor Leads and the managers to identify products that are popular within the dispensary and holistic Pharmacy, and reporting back to the Purchasing and Inventory Manager
  • Helping with ordering - assessing what product is on hand and determining what needs to be reordered.
  • Help the Purchasing and Inventory Manager build and maintain good vendor relationships.
  • Assist with organizing and executing pop-up events for the store.
  • Assist with ordering products for the store.
  • Conducting METRC investigations under the supervision of the Inventory Manager and Members of the Compliance Team
  • Receive deliveries of product, which includes receiving in the point-of-sale system (POS), creating barcodes for items or attaching Lucid’s, stickering necessary product, updating product lab results, and putting it away in the vault.
  • Restocking backstock of a product when necessary
  • Filing online orders as needed
  • Picking product from the vault for Patient Care Advisors and running product to the sales floor, either in person or through the pass-through windows, as needed
  • Communicating needs between the vault, receiving, and the sales floor as needed

 

Reinforcing an Environment of Compliance

  • Support and encourage a compliance-first culture at the Wellness Center that ensures the center is always fully compliant.
  • Follow compliance procedures to ensure all inventory activities follow IV1CA regulations and Far & Dotter SOPs
  • Completion of Green Wasting Procedure with support from the Inventory Manager and/or members of the Compliance Learn. Keep accurate records of green waste products.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the vault and the receiving area; complete and maintain accurate cleaning logs daily.
  • Maintaining compliance by executing proper inventory processes and procedures
  • Follow HlPAA guidelines.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Responsible for helping others and providing on-the-job training or guidance.

 

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or General Education Degree (G D); previous cannabis or inventory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. METRC Certification
