THIS PERSON NEEDS TO LIVE IN THE SOUTH EASTERN MO AREA

The Curio Wellness Brand Ambassador is responsible for representing Maryland’s #1 cannabis brand and helping to achieve the Company’s annual market share growth goals. The Brand Ambassador is responsible for visiting the dispensaries in their territory weekly to engage with dispensary agents and be a reliable resource for information about products, as well as our family of brands. Working closely with their dedicated Field Sales Representative, the Brand Ambassador will initiate, organize, and staff events, such as pop-ups, to assist dispensary partners with selling our products in their inventory. Together, they will develop plans that support lines of service, brand objectives, and increase brand awareness in the Maryland market. Regularly, the Brand Ambassador will engage with dispensary agents and customers alike to provide product information as well as educate the cannabis community about Curio’s mission, vision, and values, and why this should matter to them when choosing cannabis products. The Brand Ambassador is also responsible for ensuring that marketing and merchandising collateral is delivered and installed successfully so that the Curio Wellness brand and our family of brands are displayed effectively to promote brand awareness. The Brand Ambassador will also support the Curio Marketing team’s efforts to increase brand awareness at engagements and events outside of retail stores, such as community centers, industry events, sponsorship opportunities, and more. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

 

  • Represent the retail brand at community events, pop-ups, vendor days, sponsorships, and in-store activations 

  • Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of marketing events and promotional campaigns 

  • Help grow brand awareness and community presence through local outreach opportunities 

  • Support loyalty/app enrollment initiatives and customer education efforts 

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure events align with current campaigns and promotions 

  • Capture photo/video content during events for social media and marketing use 

  • Assist with distributing promotional materials, signage, and branded merchandise 

  • Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners 

  • Provide feedback and insights from customer interactions and event experiences

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • 3+ years’ experience in cannabis, pharmaceutical, or consumer product goods marketing  

  • Proven ability to build customer and consumer relationships in support of brand and product awareness  

  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills  

  • Experience with field marketing software or customer relationship management software  

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense, and resourcefulness 

  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment  

  • Personal vehicle and ability to drive to dispensaries in designated territory as well as to HQ weekly for General Sales Meeting  

  • Existing knowledge of the cannabis market preferred  

  • Excellent communication skills, particularly verbal, including strong presentation skills  

  • Flex schedule-this position requires availability to work evenings and weekends  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite  

  • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and sound judgment. 

 

 

EDUCATION: 

 

Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent job-related experience.
