The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for representing Curio Wellness and its family of brands to achieve the Company’s annual wholesale revenue goals while maintaining target margins by product category. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with dispensary management that add value to their operation and business. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for visiting the dispensaries in their territory weekly to understand the nuances of each store, to monitor inventory levels of our products and ensure all products are in-stock and available for sale. The Manager is also responsible for ensuring that marketing and merchandising collateral is delivered and installed successfully so that the Curio Wellness brand and our family of brands are displayed effectively to promote brand awareness. Working closely with the Regional President, the Territory Sales Manager will learn the “Curio Wellness Way” of client-focused selling and how to use our systems to track and measure customer visits, sales, and incentives. Together they will develop plans that support lines of service, brand objectives, increased brand awareness to the Maryland market, and deliver customer delight.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage relationships with dispensary management in their assigned territory. Territory Sales Managers are expected to visit all assigned dispensaries every other week during regular business hours (10am-7pm). Individuals may set their own schedule as to how this visit schedule may be achieved. A record of each visit is required in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM system).
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding weekly revenue targets for dispensaries in their assigned region
- Install merchandising and marketing materials in dispensaries in their assigned territory. Assist with in-store merchandising support, as needed, throughout the market.
- Assist dispensary partner with merchandising dummy packaging, printed educational materials, and uploading digital marketing assets to dispensary’s displays and online menu, upon request.
- Collaborate with assigned Brand Ambassador to schedule and staff, as needed, monthly pop-ups at dispensary locations to meet customers, solicit product feedback, distribute product information, and gifts-with-purchase.
- Offer quarterly brand trainings to new dispensary staff to ensure dispensary agents understand the tenants of Curio Wellness, Dixie, Flower by Edie Parker, Happy Eddie Kaviar, Mfused, Smokiez and any other licensed brands.
- Observe and communicate new products and market information to Director of Product Innvoation
- Observe and communicate marketing initiatives and sales trends to the Chief Brand Officer
- Contribute to Curio’s success by increasing sales and profits by organically growing existing key customers and developing relationships with key decision makers

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 5+ years’ experience in cannabis, pharmaceutical or consumer product goods sales with a proven track record of increasing revenues and shelf space
Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
Experience working in sales management systems and using data to drive decision making
Personal vehicle and ability to drive to dispensaries in designated territory as well as to HQ monthly for Sales Team meeting
Existing knowledge of the cannabis market preferred
Flex schedule - this position requires availability to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and sound judgment.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent job-related experience.
