SUMMARY: The Maintenance Associate is responsible for inspecting and repairing machines, equipment and structures, as necessary, to effectively support the Cultivation, Manufacturing and Retail functions of Curio Wellness. This Associate is expected to work independently to safely and effectively complete the tasks assigned, as well as support operational emergencies. This position may require occasional overtime or an augmented schedule to perform work outside of operating hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct routine inspections of the buildings, equipment and grounds
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on building systems
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled corrective maintenance on building systems
- Perform repairs to HVAC systems to include air handlers, pumps, chillers, boilers, water heaters, split systems, exhaust fans and rooftop units
- Test and repair electrical switches, outlets, heaters, interior/exterior lighting and associated controls
- Install and repair plumbing, irrigation piping and associated systems
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs on walls, ceilings, floors and doors, as well as painting
- This role does have potential call-ins, occasional weekend work including an on-call schedule.
- Traveling between company buildings is required.

- Basic understanding of the principles of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
- Skill in using hand and power tools
- Able to take apart machines, equipment or devices to remove and replace defective parts
- Experience with test equipment such as multimeters, ammeters, flow meters and light meters
- Experience performing routine maintenance
- Able to check and use blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs
- Strong organizational and follow up skills
- Attention to detail
- Professional attitude with ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct supervisory responsibility for others.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Licenses or certificates associated with electrical, plumbing and HVAC system competency
