: The Technical Specialist III functions as the lead operator within the post-harvest processing area, responsible for managing all phases of product handling—from initial post-harvest processing through final packaging and labeling for distribution. Guided by Curio’s management team, this role ensures operational execution aligns with quality, compliance, and efficiency standards. In this hands-on leadership position, the specialist oversees daily workflows, monitors process integrity, and supports team performance to maintain consistent product outcomes. The role includes training on specialized equipment and technical procedures related to bucking, trimming, packaging, and labeling to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory protocols.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prepare products in accordance with established work standards, specifications, and GMP requirements to ensure quality and productivity goals are met.
- Set up and maintain clean, organized workstations, equipment, tools, and materials following standard layout guidelines.
- Accurately complete, review, and maintain production documentation to meet schedules and customer service expectations.
- Analyze workflow to determine and confirm next steps, ensuring all prior processes are completed correctly.
- Safely handle chemicals and utilize respirators as required; participate in FIT testing protocols.
- Communicate effectively and document activities within a multi-tasking production environment.
- Perform 5S duties to sustain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
- Restock and monitor production material inventory to support daily manufacturing targets.
- Conduct inventory counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate equipment and instruments safely, adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in SOPs.
- Perform scale verifications based on SOP methods and product specifications.
- Execute end-of-shift cleaning duties, including floor mopping, surface sanitizing, utensil washing, and trash disposal.
- Maintain accurate records such as batch logs, hour-by-hour boards, inventory sheets, 5S documents, and data charts.
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional brainstorming initiatives.
- Promptly escalate issues to the Group Leader or Production Manager.
- Foster a collaborative, efficient, and high-performance work environment.
- Adhere to GMP guidelines and personal hygiene protocols.
- Work overtime as needed to support production demands.
- Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to perform all Associate I - III duties. Train and mentor new team members. Assist supervisors in processes according to SOPs, as well as quality and efficiency standards. Consistently meet or exceed KPIs. Possess problem solving, communication, and feedback delivery skills. Identify and report obstacles with team productivity. Must be able to delegate tasks and adapt to rapid change. Possess emotional intelligence and team building skills. Maintaining team PPE requirements, conducting safety inspections, and possibly acquire certifications. Cross training will be expected.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
