The Promotions and Retail Systems Manager is a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee promotions across both the Maryland and Missouri markets. This role will partner closely with buyers to ensure promotional initiatives align with key performance indicators (KPIs), while managing reporting, product catalog updates, and seamless execution across digital and in-store platforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Promotions Management

• Collaborate with buyers to develop and execute promotions tailored to each market.
• Track, analyze, and report on weekly and monthly promotion performance against KPIs.
• Provide insights and recommendations for optimization based on sales data and consumer trends.

E-Commerce & POS Administration

• Update and maintain promotions across e-commerce platforms and backend POS systems.
• Add selected promotions to in-store menu screens.
• Ensure pricing, discounts, and promotional communications are accurate and timely.
• Conduct routine audits of retail menus. Troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies related to promotions or product listings.

Product Catalog Management

• Build out new products within e-commerce and POS systems, including uploading SKUs, descriptions, images, and related assets.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date catalog of all products and promotions.
• Partner with marketing and operations teams to ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.

Communication & Store Support

• Act as the primary liaison between buyers, marketing, and store managers/teams.
• Communicate upcoming promotions, new product arrivals, and pricing strategies clearly and consistently to store leadership.
• Provide stores with timely updates, supporting materials, and guidance to ensure smooth rollout of promotions and product launches.
• Serve as a resource for store teams regarding promotional execution, product information, and troubleshooting.

Reporting & Analytics

• Produce weekly and monthly reports on promotion performance, including ROI, sales lift, and market comparisons.
• Develop dashboards or tracking tools for internal stakeholders to monitor ongoing promotions.
• Highlight successes and identify opportunities for improvement to maximize promotional effectiveness.

• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and reporting tools.
• Experience with POS and e-commerce systems; familiarity with product catalog management.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to work cross-functionally with buyers, marketing, operations, and store leadership.

Education and Experience:                                                    

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

2+ years of experience in retail, promotions, or e-commerce operations (multi-state or multi-market experience preferred).
